Advancing with Watercolor:"Market at Sarlat" Working with Figures

Our goal in this lesson is to become familiar and comfortable with painting the figure. We start with a Drill oriented towards painting figures with simple poses. Then we incorporate these figures into a scene of the farmers market in Sarlat - the large medieval city in the Dordogne,

IDemonstration I show an approach I find practical which is to create the scene much as a stage director .
